Here are a few key notices for June.....
LAST CHANCE TO ORDER A BNUJFC HOODIE!

Due to popular demand, we are again offering Brooklyn Northern United Junior Football Club members branded hoodies with the option of a personalised nickname printed on it. This will be the last chance this season.
The black AS Colour Supply hoodies have our logo screen-printed in colour on the front, and the club name on the back in red and white. There is also the option to get custom text, (ie, their name, or nickname) printed on the back of the hoodie. Ideally the number of characters is less than ten.
The cost remains at $45 for kids/youth (sizes 4-12) and $55 for adults (Mens XS-XXXL and Womens XS-XL). For sizing purposes, head to www.ascolour.co.nz and search 'Supply Hood'.
To secure your hoodie, submit and pay your order on or before 18 June 2023. Delivery by the end of June.

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
A reminder that during school holidays games are played on the first and last weekends so on the 1st/2nd of July and 15th/16th July with the middle weekend off.
If you’re going away for the holidays and can’t make either of these dates, please help your manager and coach by letting them know in plenty of time so they can arrange fill-ins from other teams.
Managers please reach out to your grade coordinators if you need help.
SAVE THE DATE - TEAM PHOTOS!
Friday 4th August
Team photos will again be photographed by Capture Studios, who kindly donate their time and skills for us. The timings of the night will come out closer to the date, but please put the 4th August in your diary for team photos at the Brooklyn Community Centre.
BROOKLYN’S GOT TALENT CONTEST
We are excited to announce we are again running the Brooklyn's Got Talent contest, an initiative aimed at celebrating and recognizing the skills and contributions of players in football matches during the 2023 season.
Simply share videos showcasing impressive moments of your son or daughter playing a match for any BNU or Alliance/Collaborative team. Players featured in the published videos will be acknowledged during the prize-giving ceremony.
Submit your videos before September 3rd and join us in celebrating football in Brooklyn!
Details and Rules:
Videos must not exceed 20 seconds in length.
Any noteworthy moments in a match are eligible, such as goals, goalkeeper saves, tackles, tricks, dribbles, and more.
We accept video submissions through YouTube, Google Drive, WhatsApp, Dropbox, or other tools after prior email contact.
To submit a video, parents of the player must have signed our social media consent form.
The deadline for video submissions is September 3, 2023.

HOLIDAY WORKSHOP
BNU players have been invited to participate in a workshop put on for young players who want to develop their football skills. Details are below including a discount code to enter.
Sportzone & City League Junior Football have partnered up with Football Business International to run a Football Workshop for 7 to 17 year olds. The Head coach is Rick van Hoevan from Barcelona city with 3 years of coaching experience at FC Barcelona club and is heavily involved with player development internationally.
Participants will have the opportunity to be coached by a Professional UEFA Licenced coach with first hand FC Barcelona Experience. Learn to play the Barca way, learn the Spanish techniques and technical prowess from a Pro UEFA coach.
Rick is looking forward to passing on his youth development experience and providing a challenging and exciting 3 day/ 9 session course with player assessment. The coaches will also look to invite players for “Champions Lab” in 2024 in Europe.
