2022 Jun Newsletter

Kia ora Koutou,

We hope everyone is enjoying the season so far - with a few weather related cancellations it is proving a challenge already. Here are a couple of key notices for June.

Save the date!

Greening Travel - competition

We are keen to highlight the efforts many of us are making to reduce the carbon footprint associated with travel to/from games and practices. As a club, this is one of the biggest things we can do to reduce our climate change impact. Actions already underway include carpooling, a walking bus to local practices, biking, and taking the bus to games.

To promote and reward these actions we are running a competition. Simply send us a photo of your action, in action! Everyone that submits a photo will go in the draw to win a $100 Kilbirnie Sports voucher.

A few things to note:

First Kicks

Our group of First Kicks this year has started strongly with over twenty 4-6years olds involved. This often grows over the season and it's great to see new children coming to give it a go. If you know of anyone keen they are most welcome to pop down and try it out.

Sundays 9-10, Tanera Park. Or email the club for more information - info@bnujfc.co.nz.

Games during School Holidays

Please remember games are scheduled for the first and last weekends of the school holidays. There are no games the middle weekend (16/17th July).

Hoodie Success!

We have made nearly 300 BNUJFC hoodies since they first started in 2020! Already this season over 100 have been ordered. The committee have also gifted one to each of the Football4All Players at the club.
