It’s sad to see another football season come to an end. 

There are still some great events to come though - final games, the end of season celebration/prizegiving, and of course the AGM in November. There have been some last minute changes to the prizegiving timeframes so please read on…… 


Prizegiving 

This is a great occasion to come together as a club and jointly recognise the teams, players and coaches that have worked so hard this season. 


The timings have changed slightly from previously advertised times - so read below carefully. 


When: Sunday 11 September

Venue: Wellington United Club rooms (under the stand, facing the pitch), Newtown Park 

 

11.45 - 12.15 BNU MIXED Teams prize giving

Mixed - U7 Ice storm; U8 Cyclones, Firestorm, Typhoons; U9 Dynamos; U10 Thunder; U11 Tornadoes; U12 Hurricanes; 


12.15 - 12.45 - Sausages for Mixed Teams


12.45 - 1.15 BNU GIRLS ONLY Teams prize giving

GO - U8 Thunderstorm, Whirlwind; U10 Volts, Storm, Lightning; U12 Snowstorm, Blizzards, Flurry;  


1.15 - 2.00 Sausages for GO and Alliance

 

2.00 - 3.00 Alliance teams prizegiving

GO - U14 Kahu

Mixed - U9 Karearea; U10 Huia, Tui; U11 Kotare; U12 Kakapo; Kea; Toroa; U13 Kaka, Ruru.


Coffee and water are also available - BYO cup/mug


First Kicks End of Season Event

The First Kicks coordinator, Alex, has been in touch with the FK squad and they are running their own event. Its been a great season for the up and coming football players.

Summer Football and Futsal

Registrations are now open for the Term 4 Futsall. The club does not organise teams for the various summer Football and Futsal competitions, however we are happy to support by lending gear and uniforms to any teams that are formed. If you would like some gear please contact Ian (Ian@bnujfc.co.nz)

Open Play - Futsal sessions

Capital Football futsal coaches are hosting FREE sessions that will consist of skills, drills, and games. These sessions are planned to give participants the opportunity to play and learn futsal in a fun and safe environment.


Any players are welcome to join in the sessions from the ages of 5+

Players will be placed into age appropriate groups.
