Registration Information

Team Formation

2022 will also bring a different approach to team formation as we evolve in line with changing NZ Football guidance. We are continuing our move away from trials and will form teams based on a number of different aspects such as friendship groups, enthusiasm for 1 or 2 trainings per week (Grades 9 and above), previous year teams and coach availability.

So to help, as part of registration, you will be asked to ….

  • Nominate up to 3 friends your child would like to play with

  • Indicate if your player would like 1 or 2 trainings per week (Grades 9 and above). Note that 2 trainings per week often involve a professional coach. These do incur an additional cost (approx $120-200 per season to cover the extra ground hire and coach costs).

Although we cannot guarantee to meet everyone's preferences we will do our best.

We are also continuing our Alliance with Wellington United, partnering on team formation, field access and pro coach support. More information on team formation can be found on the FAQ page of the website.
